DividendIQ — Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

What stays on your device. Everything you enter into DividendIQ (investment amounts, prices, yields, contributions, saved scenarios) is stored only on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. No account is required.

Anonymous usage analytics. To understand which features are used and improve the app, DividendIQ sends a small set of anonymous events, such as “app opened”, “calculation run”, “upgrade screen viewed” and “purchase completed”. These events include general details like your device platform, app version, broad settings (for example, whether dividend reinvestment is on), and which stock or ETF ticker symbols you look up or pick — including a ticker you searched for that the app doesn’t have yet, so we know what to add. They never include the dollar amounts, share counts or other numbers you enter. Events are linked to a random identifier created by the app, not to your name, email or any account.

Crash reports. If the app crashes or hits an error, a diagnostic report is sent so we can fix it. Reports include technical details like device model, operating system version, app version and the error itself, along with a random installation identifier. They do not include your financial inputs.

Support. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

We do not collect your name, contacts, location, or advertising identifier, and we do not use any data to track you across other apps or websites.

2. How We Use Information

Anonymous analytics and crash reports are used only to keep the app working, fix bugs, and understand which features are useful. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or build profiles of you.

3. Third-Party Services

PostHog (product analytics). Receives the anonymous usage events described above. Hosted in the United States. IP addresses are discarded and not stored.

Sentry (crash and error reporting). Receives crash and error diagnostics. Hosted in the United States.

RevenueCat, Apple and Google (in-app purchases). Process subscription and purchase information under their own privacy policies. We never see or store your payment details.

Each provider processes data on our behalf under its own privacy policy. We do not use advertising networks or data brokers.

4. Disclosure

We do not sell, rent or voluntarily share your information. We will disclose information only where required by law. If NovelLogic Ventures Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, we will notify users before information is transferred to a new owner under a different policy.

5. Your Rights

Your calculator data lives only on your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app. Analytics and crash data are not linked to your identity. If you’d like us to delete any data associated with your device, or you have questions about your rights under PIPEDA or PIPA, contact us at the address below.

6. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics events are kept for up to 12 months, and crash reports for up to 90 days. After that, they are deleted.

7. Security

Your financial inputs never leave your device. Analytics and crash data are sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Purchases are handled and secured by Apple, Google and RevenueCat.

8. International Transfers

Our analytics and crash-reporting providers store data in the United States, where it may be subject to US law.

9. Children

DividendIQ is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We’ll post any updates at novellogicventures.com/privacy/dividendiq and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
